Making life easier.
Putting you first.

My Priorities

As your next Town Clerk, my focus is on delivering smarter, more human-centered service. That means putting Aurorans first, modernizing the tools we rely on, and building systems that work for everyone. Here’s how:

Aurorans First: Creating a Seamless, Resident-First Experience

Every resident who interacts with the Town Clerk’s Office deserves to feel welcome, respected, and supported—no matter how they choose to engage. Whether you’re calling with a quick question, walking through the door for help, or filling out a form online, your experience should be easy, efficient, and memorable for the right reasons.

That means leading with empathy, being responsive to feedback, and following through on changes that improve your experience. I will regularly seek out resident input and communicate back on how we’re acting on it—because real public service is built on real accountability.

💻
Modernization: Building the Tools Residents Deserve

Our current website doesn’t reflect the energy or innovation of Aurora—and it doesn’t meet the needs of a modern community. It’s time for a major refresh.

As Town Clerk, I will lead the charge in developing a modern, accessible, and mobile-friendly online experience. That means intuitive navigation, downloadable forms, online submissions, and simple access to the services and information you need—anytime, from anywhere.

I’ll also explore launching a Town app to make doing business even easier. Residents deserve to access local government the same way they do everything else: quickly and conveniently.

⚙️
Efficiency: Flexible Service That Respects Every Schedule

Not everyone has the same routine, and town services shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all. My goal is to meet residents where they are—literally and figuratively.

That means offering multiple ways to get help: online tools, traditional mail, and in-person support. It means flexible options like extended hours during busy times, like tax season, and pop-up services in different parts of town through a “Clerk-on-the-Go” program.

Efficiency doesn’t mean rushing people—it means making every interaction count, removing unnecessary barriers, and creating more access for everyone, including seniors, working parents, and busy professionals.

With over two decades of experience at one of the nation’s most innovative companies, I know how to turn ideas into action. From finding grant funding for technology upgrades to cutting red tape that slows us down, I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and deliver results that matter to everyday Aurorans.

Because in the end, it’s not just about forms and processes—it’s about people.
